Mallett Antiques has galleries in New Bond Street, London and Madison Avenue, New York. We carry a stock of important antique Chinese export porcelain and furniture from the 18th and 19th centuries.

During the 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th centuries Chinese export porcelain and the decorative arts grew in popularity and were a very significant import to Europe. All manner of pieces were exported to meet the insatiable demand of the West. Pieces ranging from traditional Chinese porcelain vases, porcelain services, Chinese export hand painted wall paper, Chinese eight fold lacquer screens, cabinets on stands, bureau cabinets, lacquer tables, Chinese export lacquer chairs, clocks and objects were all imported throughout Europe to fill the grand collections of the affluent.
