George joined the Board as non-executive Chairman in 2000, having formerly been a Group Director of Morgan Grenfell and co-founder and Chairman of JO Hambro Magan.

Lanto joined the company in 1969, became a director of Mallett in 1985 and has been Chief Executive since 1997. In addition, he has written six books on fine antique furniture and needlework.

Michael joined the company, as Finance Director, in 2006 from National Grid plc. He had previously qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte & Touche.

Giles first joined the company in 1983 before leaving in 1987 to spend time in America and at Aspreys in London. He re-joined the company in 1993 and became a director of Mallett in 1999. He is currently responsible for the New Bond Street showroom.

Henry joined the company in 1984 and became a director of Mallett in 1999. He is currently responsible for the New York showroom having moved to New York in 2006.

Thomas joined the company in 1985 and became a director of Mallett in 1999. He is currently responsible for the restoration business, Hatfields, and the buying of continental furniture.

Peter Daresbury joined the company as a Non-executive Director in 2007. Formerly he was Chief Executive of Greenalls Group plc and then Non-executive Chairman when the group was restructured and renamed De Vere Group plc.

James joined the company as a Non-executive Director in 2007. James he was the founder, in 1987, of the Ottakar’s chain of bookshops which was sold in 2006.
