A fine Georgian statuary and brocatello inlaid marble chimneypiece with three-quarter column jambs and Ionic capitals beneath carved Terpischore and and Muses, the inlaid frieze with a carved centre tablet of 'Diana the Huntress' seated with her hounds. An almost identical chimney piece incoporating the same centre tablet of Diana with her hounds, Ionic capitals below figures of Terpischore and Muses was formerly at Eaton Hall, Cheshire, the seat of the Dukes of Westminster. It was almost certainly commissioned by 1st Earl Grosvenor (d. 1802) for the Hall in the 1770's before the house was later extensively gothicised by his son when he suceeded.
