A fine early 19th century Regency calamander rectangular work table, the finely figured top opening to reveal a fitted interior, the central section covered in silk comprising one large compartment and three smaller divisions, the central section flanked on either side by a longer compartment, the convex edged frieze inset with square satinwood panels, supported on square tapering legs terminating in brass cappings and castors, the whole inlaid throughout with satinwood and rosewood crossbanding, originally fitted with a fabric basket.
