An outstanding mid-18th century George III period oval mirror attributed to Thomas Johnson. The oval frame surmounted by two sheep flanked by columns, scrolling foliage and an elaborate cresting, the sides with boldly carved and pierced 'C' scrolls, each with pendant flowers and foliage, to a superbly carved and pierced apron decorated with icicles. Some restoration to the gilding.
